PALISADE PLUNGE INFORMATION / OUTREACH MEETINGS CANCELLED

Due to last minute coordination and planning challenges, the two Palisade Plunge Information and Outreach meetings to be held in Palisade and Grand Junction on January 18th and 19th have been cancelled. We apologize for the change in schedule. We want to make sure all the details from the organizing group* are finalized before we present information to the public and ask for comment. 

The meetings will be rescheduled for future dates to be determined. Once the dates have been finalized, we will send another announcement. 

Thank you for your support of the Palisade Plunge mountain bike trail. For more information on this project and future projects, please be involved with the Grand Valley Canyons Chapter!
*The organizing group consists of representatives from COPMOBA, the Town of Palisade, the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, BLM, USFS, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and Powderhorn Mountain Resort.

COPMOBA Joins Colorado Give Day!

You can now support COPMOBA on Colorado Gives Day! Colorado’s largest one-day online giving movement, presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, is coming up and we need your support. On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, thousands of donors will come together to support Colorado nonprofits like ours. Your support helps us build, maintain, and advocate for singletrack mountain bike trails in Western Colorado.

BLM Extends Comment Period for Uncompahgre Draft RMP

In response to public requests, the Bureau of Land Management Uncompahgre Field Office is extending the comment period for Uncompahgre Field Office Draft Resource Management Plan for 60 days. The comment period, originally scheduled to close on Sept. 1, 2016, will be extended through Nov. 1, 2016.
