Join the Motorcycle Trail Riding Association (MTRA) for a North Fruita Desert OHV area Clean-Up!
Clean-up day is Oct 4th 8:00 to 11:30, meeting place is the OHV parking area on 27 1/4 road North Desert. No RSVP, just show up!

Sign up for the annual Hotdogger! Event proceeds benefit COPMOBA. The event will begin at sunrise on October 11th, 2025, with a starting ceremony and conclude at sunset with an afterparty.
Join us for some trail work on Saturday, October 18th from 9:00am-1:00pm, more details to follow on trail system and location. New this season, back up day of Sunday, October 19th is planned in case of weather.

Join the BLM, the Fruita Trails Initiative & COPMOBA for a day of trail building to celebrate McInnis Canyons' 25th Anniversary as a National Conservation Area!Work will focus on three distinct trail projects: Over The Hill, Rustler's Re-route, and Wrangler (Adaptive). Over The Hill and Wrangler (Adaptive) will engage volunteers to perform "trail finishing" work behind a mini-excavator, while Rustler's re-routes will be new hand-built trail construction. Volunteers will meet at the main Kokopelli Trailhead at the I-70 Loma exit #115. From there volunteers will split into crews and join their crew leaders for a day of trail work.
We will move the event to 10/26/25 in case of weather!

Group Ride with Shelter Distilling! Come ride with the MUT committee.

We'll be self shuttling, so if you have a rack or a truck or both, it would be helpful if you're willing to drive!

Join us for an Informal Tailgate "Summer Celebration". There will be a few things to talk about from a business standpoint, but mostly it's just a time to hang out, enjoy a cold beverage of your choice, perhaps some snacks, etc. Families are welcome!

Our 7th annual RAT Race will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025
The RAT Race is a fun XC mountain bike race on flowy singletrack, encompassing the best trails at RAT trails. The RAT Race is hosted by Ridgway Area Trails, a chapter of Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for mountain biking in western Colorado by building and maintaining sustainable singletrack.

Come help address maintenance issues at the Kokopelli trails from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Monday, June 2. This session will be led by COPMOBA member John Vavrik.

Volunteers ages 14+ will help build the final segment of the North Fruita Desert Trail. VOC first assisted in the trail’s construction in 2022, and now we’re returning to complete the last 3-mile segment! Designed primarily for mountain bikers, the trail will also be open to hikers and horseback riders.
This event is full, thank you those that have already signed up to help!
Come out on Colorado Public Lands Day to help work on construction of the K2 Play Trail in the North Fruita Desert (18rd) trails from 9:00am - 1:00pm on Saturday, May 17. This session will be led by COPMOBA member John Howe.

With distances of 13ish and 19ish miles, this race is perfect for the whole family. Stay tuned for course maps, classes and registration info coming soon! We will also be looking for volunteers if you aren't interested in racing but would still like to be involved.
