Our 7th annual RAT Race will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025

The RAT Race is a fun XC mountain bike race on flowy singletrack, encompassing the best trails at RAT trails. The RAT Race is hosted by Ridgway Area Trails, a chapter of Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for mountain biking in western Colorado by building and maintaining sustainable singletrack.

Support your local trails and join us on May 1st for a fun community fundraiser for the Ridgway Area Trails (RAT)! Learn about the new trails, find out how to get involved in trail work, and even help us name the new trails. Enjoy a rad selection of biking films, plus awesome prizes and giveaways—all for a great cause. Proceeds from the event will help fund new trails at RAT, so come out, get inspired, and give back to the trails!

Join us for the 6th annual RAT Race on Saturday, June 1, 2024!

The RAT Race is a fun and rowdy XC mountain bike race on flowy singletrack, encompassing the best trails at RAT trails.

Help us improve some of your favorite trails at RAT while learning about the effort required to keep the trails in excellent condition. Details: Friday, May 10 from 4-7 PM. Meet at 10B trailhead, near the power station (not main entrance!).

Join us in celebrating the season opening of the RAT Trails on May 1 from 5-8 PM in the main trailhead parking lot. The event will include music and BBQ. Food for this event is generously provided by Ouray Grocery!

The RAT Chapter committee is meeting Thursday, Dec. 21 at 5:30 PM at the Million Dollar Roadhouse in Ridgway. Join us and learn more about what’s in store for 2024 at RAT. Committee elections will be held toward the end of the meeting.
