The premier hotdog eating contest, endurance mountain bike race, and charity fundraiser.
The Hotdogger is a mountain bike race and hotdog eating contest taking place on Sept. 26th, 2026, from sunrise to sunset, in Fruita, CO. It is a non-profit event to benefit the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association.
Registration for The Hotdogger will open on June 7th, 2026 at 5pm MST

Our 8th annual RAT Race will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026
The RAT Race is a fun XC mountain bike race on flowy singletrack, encompassing the best trails at RAT trails. The RAT Race is hosted by Ridgway Area Trails, a chapter of Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for mountain biking in western Colorado by building and maintaining sustainable singletrack.
Plate Pick up:
Racers can pick up plates and sign-in from 5-8 PM on Friday, June 5 or from 6-7 AM on Saturday, June 6. Look for the RAT tent in the lot next to Greenwoods Restaurant: 160 Palomino Trail, Ridgway, CO 81432
Race staging begins at 7:30 AM. The race kicks off at 8 AM. After the race, join us for an after-party and podiums.

The race will start at 8 AM sharp in the lot next to Greenwoods Restaurant (160 Palomino Trail, Ridgway, CO 81432)
There will be a neutral rollout to start, then the open race will begin on Coutny Road 12.
Where should I park? (FAQ but also add to the pages)
Parking is available along Palomino Trail Road South of Greenwoods, or to the East end of Hunter Parkway. Do not park in front of Greenwoods or at the main RAT Trailhead.

Join MUT to shuttle Lower Spring Creek and do some trail maintenance in the process. We'll meet at the Lower Spring Creek trailhead, shuttle to the top of lower spring creek, and drop in from the top to do some trail work. During our ride, we'll trim overgrown brush on Lower Spring Creek, and the upper and lower connector trails.
Come ready to ride with your bike, helmet, gloves, sunglasses, food and drink, and a pack that can carry a pair of loppers. Please bring your own loppers if you have them, we'll have a few extra pairs.
Please RSVP if you are planning to come and let us know if you have a truck and would be willing to help run shuttle.

High Voltage Hustle Race - Electric Hills | May 2, 2026
Mark your calendars for the 2nd annual High Voltage Race at Electric Hills just outside of Montrose, CO!
With distances of approximately 10 and 20 miles, this race is perfect for the whole family. The High Voltage Hustle is hosted by MUT (Montrose Uncompahgre Trails), a chapter of the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for mountain biking in western Colorado by building and maintaining sustainable singletrack. The race will start at 9:30 AM. After the race, join us for a party at the trailhead with refreshments and awards.

Join us for an all Women’s Dig Day out at the Lunch Loops with The Dirt Mermaids and The Cycle Effect.
Celebrate Trails Day is an annual springtime celebration of America’s trails. Each year, on the fourth Saturday of April, Rails to Trails Conservancy invites everyone to celebrate by getting outside to experience the joy and impact of the country’s trails.
COPMOBA will be out at the Lunch Loops Trailhead from 10am-Noon! Stop by to say hello and celebrate trails day with us!
Come help us kick off mountain biking season in Montrose at Pomona Brewing Company
on April 23rd from 6-9:00 PM. See you there!
MUT will be teaming up with Friends of the River Uncompahgre again this year to complete trailwork at Riverbottom Park. Meet at the Ogden Road Trailhead just west of Home Depot. Bring eye protection, gloves, closed toe shoes, water, and sunscreen. Long pants and sleeves recommended. MUT will provide tools and food will be provided afterwards. No experience necessary!
Come build new trails with us at the town of De Beque from 10:00am to 3:00pm. We'll meet at Roan Creek Bike Works & Coffee and then have a very short walk/ride/drive to worksite.

This is a great chance to get to know our partners at the Bureau of Land Management and get some work done on our local trails! This event will be ran by the BLM. To stay safe and comfortable during desert trail work, pack these essentials:
Hydration: 2–3 liters of water + electrolyte mix
